Hello! We had another mood board assignment but this time, our lecturer Ms. Lisa chose the theme for us! I was chosen to do a
"Masquerade dining ball" theme. During the submission, we were all told to display our mood boards without writing our name. Then, Ms. Lisa chose 3 winners for the mood boards. Sadly, I didn't win but I was happy with my work anyway.
I did a gothic victorian theme because I liked the theme very much and it was suitable for the masquerade ball. I chose a very vintage, dark colour palette with a bright colour of chandelier. I also chose different styles of wallpapers and furnitures. I didn't won because it wasn't neat enough and I didn't stick and cut them properly. I learnt my mistakes and will do better next time.
I had a lot of fun during the assignment, I enjoyed doing mood boards and I learnt a lot from it. Hopefully I will received more assignments like this in future.
